It becomes significant to note that while some people may start following this plan fully at once, it is acceptable for others to start slow. The spacing between meals of different fuels should be balanced. It should be at least 2.5 hours but not so much that a person becomes famished. The two hormones that are responsible for an individual's hunger and full signals include ghrelin and leptin. If an individual becomes insulin resistant, an issue arises with these hormones. A person can go freestyle by transforming their principal S, E and FP meals every week based on their wants and conditions. If change seems too much, a person can start following the plan with breakfast meals only. A person should not stay hungry any longer than four hours. In addition, a person should have faith in their body to receive full and hunger signals and knowledge of portion sizes. Also, it is important to steer clear of fuel ruts. It’s further significant not to avoid snacking completely and find a balanced and healthy way of snacking. There might be times when a person ends up snacking more than required or having more heavy desserts than they should, but it does not translate into failing.
